I have fifteen years of experience running Pet Sitting Royston under a franchise from 2011 to 2026 and I'm now delighted to be continuing that same personal, professional care independently as Heathside Pet Care.

I'm passionate about animals. I grew up around plenty of dogs and cats and have owned many different types of pets. As a child there was nothing I loved more than a hike with the four farm dogs on my grandparents' farm, plus our own two dogs, across the fields just outside Royston.

I hold a Level 3 OFQUAL regulated certificate in professional canine day care and boarding (including canine welfare) with the IMDT. I also have CPD certified qualifications in pet first aid and canine communication and a diploma in pet sitting and dog walking. I'm licensed to board three dogs in our family home by NHDC, fully insured and DBS checked.

Previously I worked as an accounts and payroll administrator for a large local garden centre and as a reflexologist. In 2011 I needed a career change to fit around my ever-growing family of four children, so decided to pursue a career in pet sitting — which I still love.
